Rivers Cuomo, lead singer of Weezer, was hospitalized this morning after a bus he and his family were riding crashed in New York.

The accident occurred around 7:30am when the driver lost control of the vehicle after hitting a patch of ice. The driver said the bus went over the median, hit the reflective posts and crashed into a ditch.

Cuomo was taken to a hospital in Amsterdam alongside one other passenger, complaining of rib pain. The other passengers, including his wife and daughter were uninjured.
